Flamingo to iOS

Some documentation says that iphone (and I assume by extension iPad) is one of the supported client platforms. Is that incorrect?

I don't see it mentioned in the user guide.

I believe iOS supported was planned, but I'm not sure whether it's available in Flamingo 2.2.

No, it is not part of the 2.2 release. At least, I've downloaded and looked at the files, and don't see anything for an iOS client.

I wish exadel would clarify its flamingo marketing information and remove references to the iphone support. I was misled into proposing we use it to port one of our AIR applications (which uses Flamingo to Seam) to the IPad platform.

I'm sorry for the misinformation. I know we used iOS connector internally on a project. For some reason, it didn't make it into Flamingo. I can find out what is the status on that if you would like. Send me an email to max at exadel dot com.

By the way, I'm not trying to blame anyone. I guess I should have looked deeper when I first came across the iphone support. We've been happy with the Flex to Seam integration, and had hoped to use flamingo for IPad. Now we must adopt something very different it would appear.

I would be curious in any case to know if the plans for such iOS support have been discontinued, or are perhaps planned for release in the very near future.
